Taurus is the neck, throat, and ears of the body. A sore throat can mean the need to communicate, repressed anger or stagnant creativity and the herbs helpful with healing are echinacea, ginger and horehound. Earaches indicate turmoil and anger, and symptoms can be helped with licorice root and angelica. Rub some warm olive or garlic oil in the ear.

This New Moon is conjunct Uranus and making a square to Mars making energy pop and with all planets moving direct many projects are getting a boost towards finalizing. Likewise, getting new projects off the ground is supported and can develop very quickly.

We are seeing dynamic changes to financial and banking systems and can expect to see currency being revalued. Markets are volatile and on a roller coaster. Taurus the bull is our reminder notice to stop and smell the roses and creates a calmer and more stable environment.

Bacchus was the Roman God of wine, agriculture and fertility and the Greek equivalent was Dionysus. Like Taurus, ruled by Venus, the appreciation for fine wines, fine foods, and earthly festivity. Furnishings that are rich with deep appreciation for fine arts. Taurus was identified with Zeus because Zeus disguised himself as a white bull to seduce the Phoenician princess, Europa. Dryad is a nature spirit, and the mythical creature associated with Taurus due to the Taurean’s sensuality and being in sync with the natural world. Much like the dryad, they protect their world with loyalty and strength.

Although the nature of Taurus is to be peaceful, if pushed too far, they can become furious, hold grudges, and have an especially hard time forgiving those who have betrayed them. This Mars square adds intensified vibrations to any matters related to anger and or brute instinct. Taurus is a lover, not a fighter and we should borrow from that laid back temperament to deflate any potential conflicts.
