Gemini Full Moon December 15, 2024
Chatty, chatty, chatty – a lot of talking, gossiping and circulating of information – busy bee energy. Gemini is an air mutable sign ruled by Mercury. Several hours after the full moon, Mercury stations direct and will make an opposition to the moon This is a good time to regroup on goals and projects. Be open to Plan B as this is a time to also be flexible, go with the flow.
Gemini rules the third house of the natural Zodiac where siblings, communications, short trips and mentality is represented “I think”. Gemini is notoriously fickle, the trickster, the Storyteller, Witness and the eternal adolescent. Symbolized by the Twins with the analogy of the twin always searching for the lost twin. The Jack of all Trades, Master of none is a fair descriptive. Gemini has never met a stranger and can make anyone feel welcomed and accepted.
The full moon is making a square to Neptune which could create very active dream states and restlessness. It may take extra effort to concentrate and stay focused. Jupiter remains retrograde also in Gemini and is holding hands with the full moon allowing opportunities for growth and expansion both mentally and physically!
A nice trine between the full moon and Venus is fortuitus for love and money. You may find yoruself with many options for jobs and or mates and best to follow your heart. The brain is a chatterbox and needs to take a breath! Sometimes referred to as the Cold moon since it is the last full moon of the year and the time of year when frigid weather starts in certain areas of the World.
December 21, 2024 marks the Winter Solstice and the Sun moves from Sagittarius to Capricorn. This is the longest night of the year and then the return of more sunlight with each passing day. The word solstice is Latin and translates to “sun stands still”. Several ancient sites are believed to have been designed to correspond with the solstices and equinox. Temples to worship the Sun or types of astronomical observatory like Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, the Great Sphinx and Pyramids.
