Happy 2026 – the first New Moon of a New Year! The fish-tailed goat – merging the Spiritual depths of the mysterious deep oceans with the pragmatic responsibilities of the Earth-bound realm. The workaholic of the Zodiac. Ruled by Saturn and ruler of the Tenth House where we find information on reputation, honor, profession, employers, the Mother or Father. Capricorn is a Cardinal Earth sign “I use” – very resourceful and literally can and does make treasure out of other’s discards.
Ruled by Saturn brings in matters regarding bones, structure, teeth, skin, and knees. Problems with teeth can be associated with longstanding indecisiveness and financial worries. Roman Chamomile, Cloves, and Yarrow can ease tooth pain. Knee pain is connected to being inflexible and pain can be relieved with Arnica, Comfrey, Thyme, and Solomon’s Seal. Conditions of the skin are linked with feeling threatened or “old, buried guck.” Herbs like Burdock Chickweed and Evening Primrose can help with eczema. Fungus like ringworm or athlete’s foot and be helped with Aloe, Myrrh and Pot Marigold. Yellow Dock, Figwort and Red Clover help with psoriasis. Acne can be a manifestation of not able to accept Self and herbs like Echinacea, Alfalfa and Aloe Vera help as well as blood purifiers like Garlic.
The New Moon is highly active with many aspects simultaneously – notably a Saturn Neptune conjunction which only occurs every 36 years or so – an interesting mix between the rigidity of Saturn and Neptune’s dreamy Soulfulness – time to bring dream into reality or face disillusionment. Mars, Mercury holding hands with the New Moon leads to turning over a new leaf in an old script or pattern of behavior. A Venus Pluto conjunction as part of this configuration offers unique insights and abilities to resolve old love or money issues. Uranus making a beautiful Trine to the New Moon combinations make anything possible. It is about having confidence, trust, and faith in yourself to manifest what matters to you. Never give up!
Jupitar is making a wide opposition to the New Moon, and this would not be a great time for financial speculation with Jupiter also in Cancer and retrograde – take some time to make conservative moves when it comes to your sense of security. Success could be had with decluttering and reorganizing. Make plans for the future and try to give Jupiter time to station direct in Mid-March before taking too big of an action.
We will have a couple of eclipses in Mid-February and early March and these will trigger energies to release and move along any “clogs” in the pipeline.
