Aquarius Full Moon on August 11-12, 2022, at 19 Degrees
This is the last of the four Supermoons since May which creates greater gravitational pull between the Moon and the Earth. The tides flow faster and higher causing flash floods and historic flooding. The paradox of Aquarius the Water-Bearer is it is an Air sign – Fixed Air ruling the Eleventh House of the natural Zodiac Wheel. The Eleventh House is where we find Friends, Social Groups, Hopes, Wishes and True Love. Ruled by Uranus, Aquarius runs hot and cold with key words, “I know”. Archetypes such as the Astrologer, Scientist, Revolutionary, Exile and the Genius. Rules crystals such as amethyst, garnet, turquoise, jade, labradorite and aquamarine. Rules the ankles and circulation. Ankles represent mobility and direction while circulation is about being in flow. To help circulation and reduce cholesterol try adding cayenne, garlic, ginseng, borage, and oats to the diet.
This lunation manifests as a Grand Cross adding Uranus and the Nodal Axis to the Sun/Moon opposition. We are a few degrees past the peak of the once in a lifetime Mars, Uranus, and North Node conjunction. Humanity is feeling pressure under the restraints of old worn-out yokes of hardship and suffering and pressure builds to a crescendo of unabashed freedom and individual expression. These are times for unconventional changes with careers, relationships, and family dynamics. People are on the move and yearning to experience deeper meaning in life. Saturn within proximity of this Moon is a feeling of sludging through mud and having to work harder to break out of convention. Change is inevitable and it is imperative to only follow your own inner Light and seek your true authentic Self. This will mean letting go of people, places and things that have held you back from Spiritual Awakening.
Power struggles are indicative of the sextile between Saturn and Jupiter. Finding the temperance to methodically follow a plan and stay disciplined to follow though will lead to the huge expansion of possibilities and travel that Jupiter signifies. Have a plan and only with minor edits, follow the plan and success is insured. Be willing to go outside your box if it is your intuition that is guiding you. Time to let go and forgive the past so that only the highest and purest kinds of love and fulfillment present themselves to you in your renewed path of ascension.
Uranus was the first planet found with the aid of a telescope, and was discovered in 1781 by astronomer William Herschel, although he originally thought it was either a comet or a star. The planet’s atmosphere is cold and icy. Uranus is the only planet named after a Greek God and not Roman. He was God of the sky and starry heavens. Myths have relayed the story of Uranus raining diamonds and having thirteen rings. He literally was the sky, which the Greeks envisioned as a brass dome studded with stars. He married Gaia, both his Wife and Mother and together they had many titans, goddesses, and cyclopes. Uranus was ultimately slain by his son, Chronos, and could no longer impregnate Gaea, he took his place as the bowl of the sky who was held aloft by his grandson, Atlas.
