1-17-2022 Full Wolf Moon in Cancer
This is the first Full Moon of the New Year and has been nicknamed the Wolf Moon in some traditions due to the frigid and baron landscape where only the wolf howling from hunger is heard. Within 2 hours of this Full Moon, the Moon will oppose Pluto which rules darkness, death, and rebirth. Pluto reminds us of the life-death-life cycle in all things. In late degrees at 27, the Moon will be void-of-course which will give us an emotional break briefly, an enjoyable time for napping, resting, and dreaming. Give the emotional body time to just be and unplug from the daily grind.
The Moon rules Cancer and is an enigma, representing the emotions. Strong aspects will have us swimming in the sea of our mysterious subconscious mind. Cancer makes you want to be intimate and feel more secure within relationships. Challenging emotions like dread or fear of change may manifest as indigestion or an upset stomach. Herbs to ease these symptoms are peppermint, fennel, and licorice. Rose quartz, Moonstone, Amethyst, Labradorite, Smoky Quartz and Morganite are ruled by the Moon and should be placed in the moonlight to reenergize.
The next day, Uranus stations direct and within 2 days the Sun traverses into Aquarius, which is ruled by Uranus. This will pave the way for positive movement forward on anything that has been delayed or stuck. Expect the unexpected, and be watchful of your thoughts, ready and willing to change directions and be open to new ways of doing things. Focus on new inventions and patents falls under the rulership of Uranus. A suitable time for pursuit of research and action to file a patent application for something new and innovative.
